We paid a visit to this vets in figuerio dos vinhos to have our 2 dogs checked and certified to travel back to UK.The vet explained to us that because our dogs take nexguard monthly aswell as veloxin every 6 months there was no need to administer the tape worm treatment that uk DEFRA have required since 2012.I might add this was the same information the same vet advised us in January 2019.Upon arrival at the tunnel the French pet passport office have told us we cannot travel as the dogs have not been administered the.correct worming tablet.This has caused much inconvenience as we've now had to find vet in calais pay €90 for the CORRECT MEDICATION.Cancel the booking for the tunnel and re-book aswell as spend 24 Jr's in calais to allow treatment to work.Plus hotel bill for 2 adults +2 dogs.Needles to say.when.we finally return to UK we will be requesting a refund.for the incorrect advice plus expenses incurred.I wouldn't recommend this vet they seem to have incorrect information.Poor serviceMr and Mrs G.M.Howes.

Instalações excelentes, completamente novas! Veterinárias super simpáticas e atenciosas. Fiquei a saber que também têm hotel para cães e gatos com óptimas instalações.Recomendo 100%

Quinta-feira, 10h (logo após hora de abertura)Liguei ninguém atendeu. Fui até às instalações com o meu cão com dores e disseram-me para voltar no dia seguinte às 16h. Pedi que me fosse feita uma urgência, com taxa cobrada nesse sentido, claro. Disseram para aguardar. Passado quase duas horas tive de desistir e ir procurar outro veterinário que nós atendeu logo de imediato. É de lamentar que estás situações aconteçam, ainda para mais com as taxas enormes que se paga na saúde dos animais. Novas instalações, tudo muito bonito mas para que? Quando um cão com dores tem de esperar 2h para ser visto? Lamento, mas se poder evitar, não volto.

Fiquei satisfeita com a maneira como trataram a minha gata. Foram super atenciosos!!Obrigada!!!

Dra.s Inês and Cátia (there are other vets in the practice as well) are thorough, caring and professional. It is a busy practice, well equipped and modern. They also have access to outside specialists like cardiologists. We have had 2 visits with 3 dogs and other visits with a single dog and everytime VetFigueiró has been good. They also offer a home vist service. I have recieved good advice and appropriate tests for my dogs' conditions and their treaments are prooving effective and managable. The team can speak several languages and are willing to try and help everyone. I would wholeheartedly reccommend VetFigueiró.

Gisteren mijn lieve Alice na 13,5 jaar in moeten laten slapen.De ondersteuning aan mijn hond maar ook aan mij tijdens dit verdrietige, maar rustige proces was meer dan vriendelijk en meelevend.Dank je wel dames.

I would like pet owners to know my dog had a massive stroke and although she didn't make it, the vet ines was brilliant she could of done anymore to help our Lady, the care and understanding was fantastic, remembering that we called her out on a Sunday, it shows vets care there. We will recommend coefficient, Lda to anyone.

1. The reason I have chosen this platform to express my displeasure rather than in person is because my wife is so angry and upset with you that she does not want to face you anymore.2. Yes, my wife agreed with and accepted all the expenses. Money was never an issue if it could save the life of our dog. But...all the same exams, scans and medications are at another vet almost half the price.3. The transportation in a cage I can understand but the extra tying her on her collar and a leash onto the cage with almost no freedom of movement I cannot. The feces were not cleaned before my wife took her home. Her complete backside was covered with it.4. They told us that with this aggressive type of cancer she had it is never ever ever a good idea to remove the tumor and only a piece of bone. Amputate the complete leg immediately they told us. Stage 1,2,3 or 4 doesn't matter, remove it asap. We know the prognoses is poor but she could have lived for at least 6 more years.5. From your point of view there were still other options available...there was not. When you tried to call my wife countless times with the laboratory results we were already with another vet for 3 weeks and already found out that she had: 8 tumors in her longs, 6 in her leg, in her lymph notes, in her shoulder, in her spine. Do you really think that you had another option available ? Pocking around in the tumor in her leg caused the cancer cells floating around and invest everywhere. That is why the complete leg should be amputated.6. The moment my wife started doubting everything you had done to our dog was that you sent our dog home with a big infection with the words: 'Don't worry about it'. The pictures below is after 6 days what 'don't worry about it' did to her leg. Nothing could be done about this infection anymore.
