FRAUD - AVOID THIS CAR RENTAL COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO STAR I WOULD!I too have fallen foul of the deposit being taken and not refunded. However my was EUR 800!!! I am taking it up with the credit card company to try to recover the money. We had the same excuses about the repayment system not working and now emails are just ignored. They also trade as 1Rentacar - beware* March 2020 - In response to the reply below which came through two years late - you did not refund any money. I claimed it back through the credit card company who I booked it through. They explained to me that non-returned car booking deposits were an increasing area of fraud but that they could do little about it.DO NOT PROVIDE THIS COMPANY WITH A DEPOSIT UNLESS VIA CREDIT CARD - YOU WILL NOT GET IT BACK.Don't be fooled by the more recent reviews and replies!!!!

Second we use hire car, and I will use them again this time next summer. I paid the full package to avoid surprises. When we picked up the car, I discovered that the 12v power supply for my phone was not working and the car was changed immediately. The staff was very friendly in direct delivery to the airport terminal and leaving it there. I recommend this company for those who are looking for comfort and good service.

Without a doubt the best car rental company on the Costa del Sol, prices are cheap, and they treat you with great professionalism. Since 2009 they are my favorites!

Negative feedback, better stay far away from these crooks! they rent old cars and have still not returned my deposit as they did with other people to!They may appear cheap but their staff will steal your money afterwards! better avoid them many people have much better experience with malagacar!

Do not use this company !I made the booking with hirecar-malaga and had confirmation from 1rentacar, their rep met us at Malaga and had the 300 euro security deposit taken from my credit card by Golf Service Car Hire S.L.We returned the car at the end of November 2012 after 4 weeks and were told the security deposit would be credited to my account in 2-3 days. Despite several emails and phonecalls asking for my money to be returned nothing happened so in January I asked my credit card company for help. They have not had any response from the company either but have credited my account so I now have my money.I have looked at reviews of this company on Tripadvisor and a lot of other people have been ripped off as well!.

### WARNING ###DO NOT USE THIS CAR HIRE COMPANY !!!we have now been back from Malaga over 4 weeks ago. We are battling to get our €500 deposit back !! Even though they have said car was returned in the same condition as when we hired it.They keep coming up with excuse after excuse, saying their systems are down etc etc.We should not have to fight for our money back !! This is absolutely scandalous.USE THESE FRAUDSTERS AT YOUR PERIL !!I'm sure our very own BBC Watchdog would be interested in this !

Reserve un coche diesel pero no tenian ese mismo modelo me ofrecieron uno mejor y mas grande al mismo precio. EL papeleo practicamente dura 10 minutos cuando mucho. El coche que me dieron esta nuevo. No sabia de esta empresa y ahora sera la que usare siempre.

This company has not returned my 500 Euros deposit I've sent numerous emails, which they have totally ignored, I wouldn't advise anyone to go with this company they are just crooks. Do not use this company, a month on have still not returned my 500 Euros deposit, DISGUSTED

Tenía una reserva desde el mes de mayo y un día antes de mi vuelo me cancelan la reserva sin darme ninguna opción de alquiler otro coche salvo a precios desorbitados claro. simplemente como lo van a alquilar barato, pudiendo sacarle mucho más. Son unos timadores. Empresa nada seria.

•Watch out with this company!!!I have rented out a car for 2 months 1/2,having spent enough money on the rental. I have done my part in dropping the car back on time, on the 22nd Dicember. It's been a month and my deposit hasn't been returned yet.The worst is their lack of professionalism as they ignored all my contact and no information given,about the situation.•Cuidado con esta compañia!!!Despues de 2 meses y medio de alquiler y haber gastado demasiado dinero para el coche alquilado, he cumplido con mi parte y lo devolvi a tiempo el 22 diciembre. Despues de 1 mes, mi deposito de 200€ todavia no se devolvio. Lo peor es la falta de profesionalismo, debido a la ignorancia de todas mis llamadas y falta de informacion acerca de la devolucion del deposito.1 mes en devolver el deposito es una barbaridad y nada acceptable.
