I was on holiday in Torrox and contacted Helen in advance to ask about yoga classes. I decided to attend the restorative yoga workshop held on 11 Aug and it was absolutely blissful. The shiva yoga centre is small and welcoming. The session included guided meditation, restorative yoga, breathing and yoga nidri. I was made to feel really welcome and I gained so much from taking that 90mins out for myself. I felt quite emotional at the what are you going to let go of?" but then really uplifted at the outcome of being asked to think about that.If you're in Torrox

When i came home in Amsterdam from a three month stay in Torrox , i thought back with great joy at my yoga experience in the warm Shiva yoga studio in Torrox and their excellent teachers as Helen. Helen gives lovely practice and guidance for those Just starting out as well as others who want to get further in the 'asana's' . Helen's classes are fun and challenging . I was for a few days in Torrox, the day I arrived i followed a yoga lesson. It was the most pure yoga lesson I ever followed, it was really relaxing and helpful. A few days later i had a Thai yoga massage by Helen, this was also really helpful it was a good experience. It helped my letting al the stress in my body go, And my body felt in balanced again. Afterwords Helen gifs me a few exercises to help with fixing my posture.I really recommend to go to Helen! She’s a really helpful and lovely person!
