I can't recommend this school highly enough, I spent one week there, on a trial to see if i'd like the school and the city, I will definitely return and for longer. I had a 3 hour group class in the morning with Maria, what an amazing teacher she is, very patient and our classes were tailored perfectly to the students' level of Spanish, I had one hour afternoon classes from both Laura and Myriam, again great teachers and i really felt I benefited. Top school and a great city. Voy a volver!

I warmly recommend Casa de Español!! The teachers are all super nice and helpful, furthermore they are all committed to bring the best out of you. Alicia is the soul of the school! I really enjoyed studying at the school. The quality of the teaching was excellent. The teachers took time to listen and understand the difficulties I was having with my Spanish - I am at an intermediate level - with plenty of bad habits with ‘ser’ ‘estar’ and those other grammatical errors which creep into spoken language.As a mature student I felt very comfortable with students of all ages.I have studied in other language schools in Spain and this school is definitely 5 stars.

Being a TEFL specialist and in my sixties, I had very high expectations of La Casa del Español before I arrived. I spent five weeks in an Intensive Beginners class and achieved Level A2! I could only do this with the excellent support of the school. Classes are well planned and structured in all four skills of listening, reading, writing and speaking. Grammar is taught in a methodical manner and well explained. If you’re serious about learning Spanish, I highly recommend this school. Best of all ... it was fun and most enjoyable!

I had an amazing time at La Casa del Español and would recommend going there for sure! I have spend 4 months in Valladolid working as an au pair and I attended Spanish classes two or three times a week. The teachers were all really good, the lessons well prepared and structured, but there was also room for spontaneous conversations (in Spanish!). Communication was very easy and they were very flexible, which was really important for me. Besides the good lessons, I had a lot of fun in the classes as well, the teachers were genuinely interested in your wellbeing and would help with anything. I have made some great friends in my classes and I am really thankful for the great time I had at La Casa del Español.

I can't rate the Casa del Español highly enough. The flexibility that the director, Alicia, showed when planning the logistics was very welcome. Furthermore, the teachers tailored a course to students' needs. Where many international language schools pull a course off the shelf, Myriam, María Jesús and Alberto created lessons to match specific needs. The pupils' ability to communicate in Spanish in both the written and verbal form was notably improved.

If you want to learn Spanish this is your place! great professionals. Very well located school with a cool mix of old building and new facilities. They truly care about the students and they make sure you learn. Definetly a perfect choice.

My experience with La Casa del Español had been exceptional. Myriam, my teacher was truly invested and was very patient in teaching me how to properly speak, write, and listen in Spanish. Adjustments were made to cater to my level. Small class sizes (1/2 students) enabled full participation. The concierge, Alicia, as well as the other teachers were also approachable and helpful.
