Free Your Mind Experience - Kitesurf, surf &yoga

All i can is that this was my second time joining FYM this year. I was there in April, it was absolutely amazing and even better this time in September. We were unfortunate a bit as there was no wind this time around as i would hope for every day, but Lilly, Elli, Ingo and Gonzalo made sure that we had a great time. On days we no wind they organised wakeboarding, surfing, kite repair classes, taking us to amazing restaurants etc. They would even go to the beach at 6pm in the evening as the wind on some days started late, so they can ensure that we can squeeze in an hour or two of kiting. Accommodation was great, close to the beach, nice garden with bbq area. I would highly recommend these guys, first because they are all a joy to be around and second, there is no school or camp in Tarifa that provide this level of kitesurfing. Already planning my next booking and yes it will be with FYM. See you guys soon!!!

Really good. The course was really fun and our teacher was very personable, humorous, relaxed and emphatic. I would definitely book a course there again. :)deutsch:Richtig gut. Der Kurs hat richtig Spaß gemacht und unser Lehrer war sehr sympathisch, humorvoll, entspannt und emphatisch. Ich würde dort auf jeden Fall wieder einen Kurs buchen. :)

Ich habe bereits 2 private Kitekurse bei FYM absolviert und war jedes Mal sehr zufrieden! Die Terminabsprachen mit Lilly waren total unkompliziert. Man muss ein bisschen flexibel mit den Kurszeiten sein - Wind ist halt nicht planbar. Aber im Urlaub sollte das ja kein Problem sein :-)Die Trainer Basti und Chris haben ihren Job grandios gemacht. Ich habe mich zu jeder Zeit sehr sicher gefühlt. Danke an die Jungs für ihre Geduld :-)FYM kann ich uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen! Ich würde jeder Zeit wieder einen Kurs dort buchen! :-)

The Kitesurf camp in May was my second time in an FYM Camp and it was again an amazing week. All instructions are passionate about the sport and are keen to share their passion. Therefore, I made a huge step forward in kitesurfing. Furthermore, they create a fun environment, also on days without wind.Thank you for the great week! Looking forward to the next time

I have attended the Free Your Mind Kitesurf Camps in Tarifa twice now already and both times have been an absolute blast. The people running everything are awesome, helpful, and kind - and so are all the teachers. The emphasis during teaching is clearly on safety which quickly gives you the confidence necessary to go out and really progress on your kiting skills :) Even with a couple of days without wind (where we had other fun activities like wakeboarding), I can comfortably stand up and ride by now without any training before going to Tarifa. Cannot recommend it enough and will definitely be back in the very near future!

Da ich Wohl nur eine Tripadvisor Bewertung geschrieben habe muss ich das wohl noch bei Googel Nachholen. Jedoch gibt es nicht mehr zu sagen als in den Bewertung von 2017.Auf den Ersten Besuch folgten die Besuche 2018/ 2019/ 2022.Come as a Stranger leave as a Friend,Ich bin durch Zufall auf Free your Mind aufmerksam geworden, da es in Tarifa sehr schwer ist den Überblick zu behalten bei der Vielzahl von Kiteschulen.Doch nach der Ersten Session mit Gandhi, war mit das Team sofort sympathisch. Aus einer Unterrichts Stunde wurden einige Material Rentals und Schluss endlich entstand eine sehr sehr gute Freundschaft mit dem ganzen Team von Free your Mind.Ich war in Tarifa für 7 Wochen und schon nach der ersten Woche bei Free your Mind fühlte ich mich wohl.Man wird rund um Perfekt versorgt, das Tägliche planing von Lilli lässt keine wünsche offen man wird immer rechtzeitig und genau informiert wann es an den Strand geht mit wieviel Wind zu rechen ist. An windstillen Tagen steht Lilli ebenfalls zur verfügung und berät einen um die richtige Freizeitaktivität zu finden.Top Qualifizierte Instruktoren in Deutsch Englisch und Spanisch, alle Instruktoren von Free your mind sind mega sympathisch und vermitteln ihr wissen sehr sehr gut, man fühlt sich sicher.Da ich als independent Rider in Tarifa angekommen bin wollte ich unter Aufsicht den Spot kennen lernen, so bekam ich als Instruktor Gandhi er erklärte mir auf was zu achten ist und wie ich mich an dem Spot zu verhalten habe. Daraufhin ging es gemeinsam aufs Wasser und es wurde während der Fahrt geschult. Gandhi gab mir viele kleine aber sehr hilfreiche tipps und ich verbesserte meine Kite Skills deutlich.Anschließend entschied ich mich keine Kurse mehr zu nehmen und meine Fähigkeiten selbständig zu verbessern, aber auch hier steht das Team von Free your mind zur verfügung, wenn man fragen an das Team hat werden diese immer Top beantwortet.Außerdem zu erwähnen ist das das Team von Free your Mind sich auch nicht Lumpen lässt und mit seinen Schülern auch mal in die Stadt geht und einen erfolgreichen Kitetag feiert.Nach 7 Wochen Free your Mind ist es mir sehr schwer gefallen Tarifa zu verlassen da ich teil einer Familie geworden bin, und eine sehr gute Freundschaft zu Marcel und Lilli entstanden ist.Ich kann jedem der Kiten unter Professioneller Aufsicht lernen möchte nur empfehlen dies bei Free your Mind zu tun, denn das Motto der Schule spricht für sich selbstCome as a Stranger leave as a Friend"Ich komme auf jeden fall wieder nach Tarifa und zu 100% wieder zu Free your Mindhasta luegoJonas"

Ich hatte einen Kitelehrgang in Tarifa, leider war ich nicht ganz zufrieden. Nun bin ich auf Free Your Mind aufmerksam geworden. Es hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Ich hatte Privatstunden bei Lilli, und habe sehr viel gelernt. Ihre Art und Professionalität haben mich einen großen Schritt nach vorn gebracht. Leider hatte ich nicht mehr die Zeit, um ein paar Tage zu verlängern, da der Wind nicht planbar ist. Diese Kiteschule kann ich nur empfehlen. Bis zum nächsten Jahr, und vielen lieben Dank an Lilli

Friendly, open, warm, passionate and enthusiastic: FYM camp was a wonderful experience and a great way to learn kiting. The joy of this wonderful sport is conveyed to you and the needs of the participants are individually addressed. Ask for the yoga lessons, they will help you to start the next kite day with full power again! You can feel that the team is always thinking about making everyone's vacation as nice as possible, whether with or without wind. Thank you for the great time here, I would recommend it to everyone!

I had an absolutely wonderful time kitesurfing with Free Your Mind in September 2023. It was my first time kitesurfing and the Kitecamp format worked out perfectly for me. It was great fun being with a mixed group, some who were absolute beginners and others with experience. Chatting to everyone was valuable and a lot of fun of course. Everything was great, but the quality of instruction from Ingu, Lilly and Gonzalo was off the scale. I can’t believe their dedication and passion and patience for instruction, day in, day out. Their instruction alone made the kitecamp great value. I cannot thank them enough and I will definitely be returning!
