Lia is a fantastic designer, maker and instructor! I am a customer of her clothes and crochet classes. The clothes are beautifully made and I feel great wearing them knowing they're made sustainably and by a small business.I went from having zero knowledge on how to crochet to being able to do a granny Square after one class.

Love the workshops at Made Obvious! Lia is a kind, patient teacher who taught me how to crochet and I've been back multiple times. The space is lovely and has a relaxed feel. It's been nice meeting other crafting enthusiasts too!

The workshops at Made Obvious are absolutely lovely. Lia is an amazing teacher and designer, who fosters a wonderful community space that makes everyone feel welcome. It’s been a great way to get to know other people who love crafts (and wine) as much as I do, and to get the push I needed to finally get into crochet! Here on the left you can see the granny square I made at Made Obvious, and on the right the square I made as soon as I got home - I couldn’t wait to practice more. After doing the granny square workshop, I also signed up for the “bring your own craft” one, where I had the chance to work on my current crochet project. I had just as much fun as I did the first time, the group was truly amazing and we had some good laughs together. Can’t wait for the next edition!
