Really cool experience! Loved the car and the region (Basque country/Cantabria/Asturia)! Very fair deal for car rental including boards and wetsuits. Good communication, great tips for surfing & camping spots. Can only recommend it!

This is a review for the Portugal branch of surf-cars in Faro, Lagos . The VW van was rented by us in June 2016. The Van was unsafe and filthy. The toe or wheel alignment of the van was out of angle and while driving the direction of the Van needed to be corrected the whole time by counter steering. The horn didn’t work. The van engine failed to start several times and one time we needed to do a push starting with the help of other people. The inside the Van was dirty from the users before, so dirty that we cleaned it by our self. The couple who rents the vans in lagos was saying that they can not check everything on the vehicles between renting the vans ... (!)

Surf-cars is the best rental cars and give you freedom. the van is very clean good service and fair price. I love surf-cars

My experience with Surf-Cars was awesome. They rented me a stylish Volkswagen T3 in great shape, which is just much better than the campervans you can rent because it really adds to the roadtrip feeling/experience. We hired surfboards with them as well, as well as a hammoc and a guitar!! How cool is that?! We drove the Surf Van from Santander, to San Sebastian, then all the way to galicia, and down to South Portugal. Here we got into some car trouble a popped tire because of the bad roads.. Fortunately Surf-Cars had a station right around the corner in Lagos, and the next day we we're on the road again!! This is the real experience guys, don't bother searching further!

Nette Leute und lustige Erfahrung. lncl. Shuttleservice zum Busbahnhof in Santander. Auch trotz extrem kurzfristiger Buchung/Anfrage schnelle und solide Bearbeitung. Aber das Preis-Leistungsverhltnis stimmte für uns nicht: Dachfenster und ein Seitenfenster waren kaputt, was uns nach der Zahlung erst erwähnt wurde. Während der Reise mussten wir feststellen, dass der Kühlschrank nicht ausreichend kühlte und bei der Fahrt immer wieder aufging. Cave bei der Budget-Berechnung: Für die Preisberechnung wurden bei uns An- und Abreise als voller Tag berechnet, da die Miete nicht pro Nacht sondern pro Tag berechnet wird: (für Autogebühr und alles zusätzliche Equipment, das pro Tag berechnet wird).

Road trip perfeita! Tudo super limpo e cuidado à nossa espera! É a melhor escolha para quem quer experimentar este tipo de férias.

So ein Camping-T3 ist toll, aber nach der Abwicklung kann ich nur jedem abraten bei Surf Cars einen Wagen zu mieten. Der Wagen wurde uns mit einem herausfallendem Radio und einer Kühlschranktür übergeben, die bei jedem Huckel aufspringt. Okay, ist halt ein alter Wagen, das ist schon okay, dachten wir uns. Beim Abbiegen haben wir uns einen kleinen Kratzer und eine Delle zugetragen. Ohne Extraversicherung war klar, dass wir das zahlen und kein Problem, war ja schließlich unser Verschulden. Im Nachhinein kam dann eine Rechnung über knapp 500€, in der plötzlich Kratzer am ganzen Wagen auftauchten und wir eine Felge ersetzen sollten. Da wurde wohl unser Schaden genutzt, um den Wagen rundzuerneuern. Eine Frechheit, Einwände meinerseits wurden mit Sätzen wie Wir verstehen

Vier Superwochen in Kantabrien und Baskenland - sowas geht nur im Bulli. Dank an die hilfsbereite und total nette Crew in Santander.

Die Vermietung lief absolut reibungslos ab und wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit mit Ramona! Die Austattung des Bullis war ausgezeichnet und wir hatten massig Stauraum.Innerhalb von 8 Tagen (nächstes Mal definitiv länger!) haben wir uns von der Landschaft Kantabriens und vom Baskenland verzaubern lassen. Definitiv empfehlenswert!!!
