Petit Hostel La Latina

Como para una noche está perfecto. Las camas tienen suficiente privacidad, los cajones bajo la cama son amplios y se abren con la tarjeta magnética. Los espejos de los baños son grandes. PERO. Ni bien llegar me advirtieron que la noche anterior habían robado a una chica dentro del hostel, y a la mañana siguiente mi sorpresa al encontrar un hombre durmiendo en el sofá de la sala común. El espacio en la habitación es DEMASIADO pequeño, no tenía donde apoyar mis cosas, ni en el piso entran, el pasillo entre las camas es escaso. Por lo que encima salgo de la habitación para acomodarme en la sala y me encuentro un hombre durmiendo, decidí irme. No hay personal casi nunca, intenté comunicarme para transmitir la situación y no me atendieron ni el intercomunicador ni el teléfono. Por la tarde había un trabajador, super amable, super servicial y simpático, aguantandome a mí y otras huéspedes bastante intensas con la mejor predisposición. La ubicación.. el hostel está rodeado de repechos y escaleras, es así esta parte de Madrid. Tampoco hay estación de metro cerca. Por cierto, la cama de arriba en la litera está super-mega-archi alta, altísima. Esto es excelente para el de abajo y terrible para el de arriba. Da privacidad, pero también da miedo subir y bajar. En fin, está aceptable por el precio para personas sin remilgos.

It was an okay hostel but everything is complicated.The check-in took me some quite time. There are no available staff when I arrived and it was after 19.00. I had big luggage and I had to book online.There are three ways to check in - using your QR/Last Name/Reference Number. QR and Reference Number did not work for me while Last Name would prompt that the bed is still being cleaned when it was already past 19.00. Thus, I had to request for help.The scanning had trouble scanning my ID and did not recognize the details so I had to type everything manually - which then pushed me to use my passport instead.The room was okay and clean but for me the room is not spacious but enough. It is true it is difficult to open a luggage since there is not much space to spread out your luggage without using your bed. I hate the automatic light system but I support the sustainable goal out of using this system. However- in the toilet, the lights turn off quickly while I am still having my concentration, you would not expect me to dance while doing my toilet business.Some rooms could be noisy, when I was statying at 200s, I could hear people screaming and playing loud music beside. So, do reach out to the hostel and they would take care of these things.

Me ha encantado el hostel por su localización, limpieza y buen ambiente. Es un lugar acogedor y seguro. Y esta semana daban un pequeño desayuno.Los empleados majísimos. Dani y las otras chicas me han tratado muy bien.

Excellent location and a very good price. The beds are comfortable with nice curtains and a large storage lockers. The lounge is small with a fridge, microwave, kettle and minimal dishes (only one bowl) and practically no cutlery. The staff only work from 10am as most processes are automated.

Hostel super recomendable! Las personas que atienden son todas muy simpáticas, buena onda y atentas (Carlos es una persona genial y se puede conversar muchísimo con él, y mi compatriota Agus me ayudó mucho en mis primeros días en Madrid con la información que me dio y todo lo que me explicó). Las camas tienen cortina y los baños están bien divididos (inodoro, ducha y lavamanos por separado, así no hay tanto problema en su uso), la cocina cuenta con pava eléctrica, heladera, mesa y sillas, y la limpieza es muy buena. Además, cualquier problema que surgía alguno de los chicos lo solucionaba enseguida. Fue una muy buena experiencia, y sin dudas volvería!

The hostel has new infrastructure (matresses,...) and the price&location are very convenient. I have just had an issue by which the day before check-in I asked whether I could leave my bag in the early morning and then do the check-in later at 15:00, which they agreed for. The morning of the day I was gonna stay at the hostel I went there at around 10am and the person from the hostel told me they don't have that service (which they agreed for upfront) and gave me an alternative to store it but with the condition to do the check-in between 15:00 and 15:30, else I couldn't retrieve the bag until 20:00. I think those things needs to be explained upfront.If it wasn't because of that, it would have been a 5 star.

Just awful, avoid at all costs. I didn’t expect much from a shared room hostel, but it was even worst. Receptionists are only there at certain hours and if something happens when they are not there, you are out of luck. My key didn’t open the locker and I had to wait at the reception for three hours in my pijamas. Two girls lost their train because they couldn’t get their luggage

Great place and friendly staff. I loved how the technology integrates into the experience. The bed was super comfy and the locker was big enough. Great deal for the price I think. Great place to get some sleep before a flight. Just wish they had a bigger kitchen like many hostels I’ve visited. Hope to be back.

Can be a good place because beds have curtains , modern design and are confortable , but unfortunately rooms are in basement , no normal windows , and big problem with food delivery glovo is not reaching that place because is too farBut honestly I liked modern design of that place , only they need to pay attention for cleaning , I've came, got a bed by automatic system and ....surprise .....bed was used and nobody change bed linen I've stay in same room with other dirty bed like 3 day and nobody clean after check out of other person which was not so good come back to room and see papers and trash and bottles in bed next to youTo staff..,.Pay attention for cleaning , and fix broken things in hostel because hostel have good design but .....weird staff
