Nice staff, friendly atmosphere. The karaoke host was very helpful. Downloaded a song for my Spanish partner so he could sing a song which I thought was very inclusive, he speaks English but was too nervous to sing in it. 2€ for a pinta of Estrella and kopparberg on draft for 3.5€ too.

Karaoke bar we zijn daar een maand geleden geweest toen was het geweldig leuk nu een andere karaoke man die niets gaf om de Karaoke niet geïnteresseerd. Zal hier niet herhalen wat hij zei we zijn weg gegaan maar komen wel terug voor de andere karaoke man want die is geweldig goed.

Had a great few nights in here, not sure if Dave (the guy on the floor in my photos) was a turn or a massive karaoke fan but he was definitely enthusiastic for karaoke. Lol great drink prices and does get busy with it been a small bar, but great location.

Everytime we are on holiday in Benidorm we visit The Black Chicken. This is a very down to earth karaoke bar with friendly staff and cheap drinks. For example, two gin and tonics cost 4.50€. The bar is very popular (often there is standing room only) with all age groups. Each time we have visited we have had an incredible time, meeting some lovely people. There is a large outside terrace, a DJ booth and plenty of seating inside. The tiled floors are cleaned regularly and the bar is appropriately decorated with chickens.Each night a Frank Gallagher (David Threlfall) look alike from the TV series Shameless is the resident DJ. He is a fantastic host and David has a great rapport with the audience and loves getting into the character of his alter ego 'Frank'. We would recommend The Black Chicken if you are looking for a fun bar.
