Alamo Rent A Car.

Reservamos un vehículo de 7 plazas con un mes y medio de antelación, cuando llegamos a recogerlo el vehículo se había averiado" y no estaba disponible

IDA.Llegamos de un vuelo que siempre es un poco pesado y mas con niños...yo previamente realice el checkin con la esperanza de evitar colas innecesarias y la sorpresa fue, que da igual, nos tuvieron 1hora y cuarto en una cola donde 3 empleados hacían lo que podían.Me entregaron un coche que no era el que reserve, pero eso me da un poco igual, lo que no veo lógico que reservo una sillita de niño por 94 euros (un.escandalo) y por ese mismo precio me dan un alzador!!!(que por 12 euros compro uno en cualquier sitio si no hubiera sido porque me hicieron mucho retraso en la entrega del coche).El chico que me entregó el coche eso si, muy amable.VUELTA.Me atienden dos chicas muy majas (creo recordar que se llamaba Cristina). Apenas tarde en la entrega.

RUN AWAY !They were 1hour late. We booked a van for 8 people online. On site they did'nt let us leave with the car and no refund.All the staff was ignoring us, let us waited, make fun ok us in spanish...They tried to threatenned us because we didn't wanted toi leave without refund.End of story, we lost 400€ and we had to book 2 cars for 1000€...

Jon is a smiling and charming guy, from the moment we arrived he was so kind.When we returned the car, he was there, received us and made sure to close allthings for us in the best and fastest way.Highly recommend

During car pick up, we were assisted by a guy with longer hair, whose name I can’t remember, he and his colleague were super nice, they offered us cold water and popsicles for my kids. The problem was, they didn’t have the car I booked (intermediate SUV) and gave us Volkswagen T-cross which is way smaller and not so comfortable, it was an issue for us, as we planned 3 weeks holidays with quite a lot of traveling.Another thing is that “booster seat” they give you is cheap supermarket one, which I found in Seville Carrefour for 12.99 euro, so it is actually cheaper to buy it and even throw away then take from Alamo. During car return we had a great service from lady named Cris, she was super polite and explained how to get to the departure hall, return was super smooth and fast.

Tuvimos muy buena experiencia. Alquilamos el auto desde Madrid. Lo retiramos en Málaga y lo devolvimos en Sevilla. Todo perfecto. Nos entregaron un auto superior al que habíamos alquilado. Muy simple todo el trámite, tanto para retirarlo cómo para entregarlo. Muy recomendable.

Victoria was really helpful at the rental car return. she looked thoroughly through the car and found some items that we forgot and almost left behind. we were grateful for that. easy process.

Completamente decepcionados. Tuvimos una avería. Se quedaron con el monto completo de la franquicia. A la entrega del coche alquilado, en agosto, en el aeropuerto de Sevilla ofrecieron enviarnos las facturas y el informe del mantenimiento del coche antes del alquiler. Estamos en noviembre y no sabemos nada de la empresa Alamo.

I cannot recommend Alamo at all. I have booked a car online with Alamo and paid premium to get bigger/better car (Mercedes A or alike). On the arrival I had a discussion with an employee that I need such a car, but she said it's not available and I will only give you Audi A1, which is according to her similar. We debated it for more than 30 minutes, where I even showed her reviews that Mercedes A is like A3 not A1. She refused and I gave up as I had to go. I have paid premium to have bigger car which I needed. On return I have explained it again to the employee and he immediately told me that A1 is not similar and that he will ask to refund me. Yet nothing has happened. The car I got A1 at the same day was 70 EUR less at Sixt than what I had to pay! I have submitted my complaint to the company online with follow-up 3 email. I was always assured I will be refunded, but nothing has happened.I must admit this was the worst rental experience I have ever experienced!

Use at your own risk! Pickup is in a dark half-garage where you can not properly evaluate the actual damage of the car. Yes, you will be shown ‘known’ damages, but as we all know this is rarely everything that is wrong with the car. I noticed a dent after inspecting the car outside their premises and was charged full for being an honest and helpful customer. Disappointment and an absolute scam.——¡Úselo bajo su propio riesgo!
