My favourite podcast! This is a day-of listen every time a new episodes drops. It is a great way to take in French content in a friendly, easy way. The host has a beautiful accent (very neutral French, easy to listen to and understand), and he discusses all kinds of topics. Honestly, he does such a good job that he could talk about literally any topic and it would be interesting--he's that good! :D I had been looking for a French podcast for a long time and this is by far the best one I've found. It helps me to think in French, too :) Would give more stars if I could ;)

I'm trying to improve my french conversation as I live in SW France. This is really helping me and I find the podcasts really interesting and amusing; Thank you;

Nunca he tenido demasiado éxito estudiando inglés con los métodos tradicionales.Cuando aparecieron como setas las academias con sistemas milagrosos pensé que era mi oportunidad, pero resultó ser más de lo mismo.Aparecí aquí gracias a una recomendación, aunque sin demasiadas esperanzas.Por fin algo diferente y que funciona.Proximidad, empatía y profesionalidad.Vas a pasar un buen rato y sales con la euforia de estar progresando a cada paso.Absolutamente recomendable!

Lionel provides superior materials for the student of French. His podcasts are varied so things never become routine. His style is conversational and natural, so if I need to repeat a few sentences at a slower speed I can do so but I'm normally listening to real spoken French, not classroom French or a dumbed-down version. He's always clear and repeats himself as we all do when speaking so that comprehension is reinforced.He's also an engaging personality. Even if I'm more than twice his age and share only some of his many I retests, I've found him a terrific storyteller. He has so many interests that he'll never run out of material that I'm happy to listen to.

I’m always on the lookout for a French podcast for intermediate and upper intermediate learners. This is the best one right now for my level. He speaks at a rapid pace, but at the same time he speaks very clearly. His accent is lovely, too!

Lionel's podcasts are simply incredible. Perfect for anyone wishing to hear clear prononciation from a native French speaker. The topics are interesting and varied. He is also very engaged with his audience and passionate about languages. I highly recommend this podcast!!
