Baila con Ben

I came across Baila con Ben in the park bandstand today and had a lovely few dances. Very welcoming atmosphere and good mix of salsa, bachata & kizomba music. Gracias!

Ben is beyond incredible! As a human being and a dancer/dance teacher :)I contacted him in July this year to see if he could help my partner and myself with private wedding dance lessons (our wedding was now in October overseas). He responded so quickly, was super informative and extremely accommodating as we have a dog with separation anxiety, and needed to be able to be near him during our lessons. He spoke to us in English which was a big plus as my partner doesn't speak any Spanish yet. Ben is also super well priced so it was truly a match made in heaven!He came up with a stunning choreography for us for our custom-made song, literally by thinking on his feet as he is such a natural. The experience of our almost weekly private lessons was filled with lots of laughter, a bit of Cava, and finding our rhythm as a husband-and-wife-to-be. An experience that we will fondly look back to for years to come.Our first dance was truly a crowd pleaser with a gasp effect! So thank you Ben, from the bottom of our hearts, for helping us on our journey to married life. We only hope you enjoyed spending time with us as much as we enjoyed spending it with you! I attended Ben's dancing classes for quite some time, and I can only say that I've enjoyed them and had a lot of fun, while learning some salsa and bachata new steps.Ben is an experienced dancing teacher. He's been dancing for a long time throughout the world, and I've seen him having the professionalism and patience to teache new students from the most basic level, all the way up to an advanced one.

During a walk in Turia Park, we suddenly heard salsa music. Being Salsa lovers, we followed the music and came across a group of people dancing to Salsa and Bachata music. In this way, we stumbled upon one of Ben's social dancing events. We were happy to be able to dance Salsa in Valencia and quickly realized what nice people we were dealing with. They welcomed us warmly and danced with us naturally, even though we were new. We northern Germans are not used to that. In the north of Germany, it can take a while before you are accepted into a group. People in southern Europe tend to be more sociable and open, but it's Ben, the founder of this group, in particular, who makes this dance community so special. He is an excellent dancer and dance teacher and he spreads a beautiful spirit conveying what is important in dancing: fun and connection with other people. That is the spirit that Ben lives up to and passes on to the other dancers. Accordingly, Ben makes sure he dances with every woman at his dance events. On my very first day in Valencia, I came across the social dance event Ben organizes on my way back home from the beach. I spontaneously joined and I’m so glad I did as it really changed my entire experience in Valencia and my perception of dancing. Ben showed me that dancing is not just body movement but a form of connection. We meet Ben a while ago (in May) during one of his social dancing sessions in the Turia. He immediately invited us over to join in and we had a fun evening dancing.Ben is very open minded, supportive and most of all a fantastic dancer who has the ability to create a wonderful atmosphere.I am already looking forward to more dances with Ben once I return to Valencia.

Joining Ben's dances is a great experience. The environment is very friendly. If he sees you're a rookie in dancing, he'd help you, giving you instructions. There are always people who passing by stop and enjoy us dancing and some of them join us. It's open for everybody.

Ben is a great guy, and the Salsa/Bachatta get togethers all over Valencia are just amazing! A nice way to meet all kinds of lovely people, dance and learn. A warm welcome to the city! I would definitely recommend!

Ben is an excellent dance instructor. His group certainly provides more fun activities for Valencia! I enjoyed it very much every time ! Thank you. Ben!
