This golf club was closed last year for major development including new turf on all the greens. Unfortunately they have used experimental grass which was chosen because it requires less water. Unfortunately as you can see the greens are a disaster area. Not only do they look awful they are also terrible to put on. We got some compensation but would rather have played on the course with good greens. The rest of the course including the fairways are in good condition.

‘Buyer beware’ - As mentioned the greens are just so poor. It’s a shame as the rest of the course is in good condition, it’s a nice layout and the staff were helpful. I’m also disappointed that ‘YourGolfTravel’ didn’t give us a heads up as we would have chosen a different course. I would advise to stay away until they fix the greens.

We like this course very much. You have wide fairways and also challenging several challenging water hazards. After we enjoyed the older courses with their typical huge tree this course offers an agreeable variety.The large clubhouse hosts the Millenium and Laguna course.The parking ground with shadow is very comfortable, if You sit in the car after a round of golf.

Very nice and very well maintained course for amateur golfers. More forgiving than Victoria, though still challenging. It qualified to be on my “play again” list.

Touched from heaven, extremely difficult and challenging with the winds I encountered. Eventhough I played badly, I really enjoyed it. Hitting 283m drive when I had follow wind, and ofc face reality hard on face wind hehe. Anyways. The staff in the pro shop was extremely helpful and professional. Also the buggy manager (I think he has many other positions, and definitely a pro) we stood and talked after the rouns for a good half hour where he adviced about courses and experiences. Overall Perfect score in my book!!!

Ambassadors trip to Algarve, course 5/7.Afternoon session of our extensive week.Quickly checking in, no need to describe since its same clubhouse like Millenium course and DOM PEDRO standard is set up there.I admit in beginning of the review this is not my course, not because of quality that was perfect, its because of design. I know I love park land courses. This is kind of course, what you would look after if all other courses are booked. I believe it has its own customers. Many holes are protected with water hazards especially on back nine. The course itself is not long its wide open, its easily walkable. The hole what I do remember and what I like probably best is hole 17th short par 3.After all we were able to finish our second round day before dark and grab the beer on spacious terrace.
